Vacancy for School Cleaner
12.5 hours per week, term time only plus INSET days plus 5 weeks in school holidays
NJC Grade 2 (£22,366 - £22,737 FTE) - Actual salary £7,316.55 per year, paid over 12 months
Tutshill C of E Primary School are looking for a dedicated and reliable cleaner to join our team, working alongside existing cleaners, to provide a friendly and professional service for pupils and staff. Hours would be Monday to Friday, 12.50 hours per week. Experience preferred, with a positive attitude and attention to detail required.
The successful candidate will:
- be willing and able to work as part of a team
- carrying out general cleaning duties
- demonstrate a passion for providing a professional cleaning service and taking pride in your work
- maintain high and consistent standards of cleanliness
- report equipment and stock levels to the School Business Manager to ensure these do not run out
- report premises and facilities issues to School Business Manager and Site Manager
- have a positive attitude
- maintain a calm and professional manner at all time
- have a good sense of humour

Hours: Term time 12.50 hours per week, including INSET days and 5 weeks in the school holidays - timings of hours worked in the holidays are flexible. Monday to Friday hours are 3.30-6.00pm. Morning hours can be considered.
